Sustainable Design

Joseph Little Architects provides architecture and environmental consultancy services, with a huge emphasis on sustainable design. Our focus is threefold: on serving client and brief, on safeguarding the environment while reducing energy use, and on pushing the boundaries through the use of the latest technology.

Climate change, resource depletion, fuel prices and the tightening legislative framework that reflect these are altering the requirements of good design. Greater care, analysis and co-ordination are needed at design stage and higher standards on site to deliver the buildings this society needs.

Joseph Little Architects are committed to this approach and promote it through architecture, training and publication. We are particularly interested in integrating various low-energy strategies with low-impact natural materials.
