Setz Architecture (founded in 1986) is a Swiss architectural practice who only design low and ultra-low energy buildings. They have become the leading practice in Switzerland focusing on the design and contract management of low-energy buildings. They have designed and contract managed more than 40 buildings (including more than 70 housing units) to certified low-energy standards including some that produce more energy in a year than they consume!

Setz Architecture was awarded the Swiss “Solar Prize” in 2008 as well as the “Best of Solar Prize” in 2004 and the Swiss “Solar Prize” in 2003. In the manner of many central European architectural practices Setz Architecture are also contract managers and cost controllers.
